Watertown Dental Care is Hosting a Free Day of Dentistry with Dentistry From The Heart.

Watertown Dental Care sponsored its first Dentistry from the Heart event on Saturday, September 25, 2010. Drs. Darin and Hally Bach joined with members of their team and local volunteers to offer a day of free dental services for those in the community who might not be able to afford dental care.

Thank you to the 31 volunteers that helped make the event possible. Together we served 65 patients and provided over $10,300 in free dentistry! With everyone's help and time, it was a successful Dentistry From The Heart day. Thank you!!

Dentistry From The Heart is a national non-profit organization with a simplemission - making people smile. Founded in 2001 by a Dr. Vincent Monticciolo in New Port Richey, Florida, DFTH was created to aid those in need, including the growing population of under-insured Americans. Over 100 million Americans lack dental insurance, and over 29 percent of adults have untreated cavities. Without events like DFTH, dental care simply isn't an option for many of the uninsured. To date, DFTH has helped more than 25,000 patients and provided over $5.5 million in dental care.

"Now more than ever, I know there are people out there that need dental services, but have no means to afford them - whether they're out of a job, or just don't have dental insurance. Dentistry From The Heart is our way of giving back to the community, and helping people who are in need of dental work," said Darin Bach.
