Fellowship Status with D.O.C.S.

Dr. Bach Achieved Fellowship Status with D.O.C.S.

Dr. Darin Bach, a sedation dentist who practices in Watertown, has recently fulfilled the requirements to receive Fellowship status with D.O.C.S. (Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation.) This special credential has been accomplished by only a handful of dentists in the nation and includes advanced training, experience and special educational requirements. D.O.C.S. Fellowship credentialing recognizes Dr. Bach as an outstanding professional committed to safe, quality dental care. "I am proud to be counted among the other Fellows and honored to be able to offer this kind of care to my patients." said Dr. Bach.

For many Americans going to the dentist is a frightful event, even though dentistry has changed so much in the past years. Unfortunately, this is not enough for the millions of Americans who avoid the dentist due to fear. "A visit to the dentist can now be even more relaxing and fun with oral conscious sedation," Dr. Bach said.

He adds, "I have always pursued education to ensure that my patients are receiving the best care available. By completing the requirements for D.O.C.S. Fellowship, I feel that my patients will be getting the very best care they deserve. I am looking forward to helping more people visit the dentist with this safe and wonderful technique of sedation."

Dr. Bach is a member, and now Fellow, of the fastest growing organization of its kind in dentistry--the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (D.O.C.S.) The purpose of D.O.C.S is to provide the education necessary for dentists to offer needed care to the large population of people who avoid the dentist, thereby improving these patients' lives with better dental health.

"Dentistry is very high tech today with all sorts of gadgets that get the job done better and quicker, but now with oral sedation dentistry I can bridge the gap between technology and comfort," said Dr. Bach.

He added, "You should see the look on the faces of my patients when they complete their care and they have a healthy mouth - there aren't words to describe it. That feeling is why I love dentistry. We help change someone's life."
